This cover got me into Paul Baribeau and I’ve been listening to him pretty much non-stop for like 2 weeks now.
Dave did a really good job.
I drew this for my girlfriend’s birthday. She’s the Finn to my Jake or something ^^,
Over on the right is Lumpy Space Dylan. He’s our friend and he really likes birthdays. He’s jealous cause it’s not his big day yet.
Those shorts are a reference to Arrested Development.
Tobias is a never nude and always wears cutoffs.
I forgot that wasn’t a normal thing.. I just didn’t want to have to draw some cartoon junk.
I drew this because sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever be good enough to be a real animator and then I want to go and cry in the shower for days.
I’m thinking of getting prints of it made but I’m not sure which I prefer more. I’ve narrowed it down to the first two, and at the moment it’s the second one but that’ll probably change later. If I do go for that one then a couple more in different colours could look really cool.
I wonder if the presence of those cutoffs just becomes baffling once the shower’s gone :)

There’s a lil exhibition happening in college over the next couple of weeks that we were invited to take part in, so I’m putting these into it. I wasn’t going to put anything up initially because it doesn’t feel like I’ve done anything that interesting in the last while but then I put these together and kind of liked them.
It’s all stuff that I’ve put on here before but you haven’t seen them all together like this, NOT LIKE THIS! Sorry.
Well anyway the printer in college made the colours all cack so it didn’t matter in the end.
This is a terrible photo of a meerkat that I’m currently animating :) He’s fun to draw, even if I haven’t go him down exactly yet. The piece of dialogue that we’ve been given to animate to demands that he never look as optimistic as the top left drawing :)

I really won’t update it all that often either. I spent like an hour moving things over and cleaning up this blog, so it looks bad now. But I’ll go easy from here on out ^^,

I’ve also always been worried about what those post its that my aunt gave me are for. Remicade might be like.. bum medicine or something.

I’m gonna buy this reeeaal soon :) I forgot my bank pin again, it’s this whole messy thing. I wish my face was enough of an ID to prove to them that I am me.
Every so often I’m like “FUCK. I WILL NEVER BE AN ANIMATOR. WHY AM I EVEN HERE?” and that sucks.
But finishing that loop today, or.. well sort of finishing it.. just getting it to the stage it’s at, it makes me feel like I might actually be able to do it and that’s really nice. Of course I won’t feel like this next week, but still! :)
I’ve both hated it and loved it while working on it, now I’m not so sure how I feel. Like, I don’t know if it should’ve taken so long for what it is. Is it even worth the time it took? BUT EITHER WAY, I’m just happy I finished it, that’s an achievement of sorts.
Also, the layout of Vimeo is so nice looking that I want to make cool new things just to put up there.
Hey jerks! Here’s that thing I was making for college. It’s a loop and it took me fucking ages to do. It’s not even fully done but it had to be handed in today. I’m going to add some light from the screen flickering across them soon.
I did this thing of my head for a thing.
